No more restore points

Hi,

I'm using Vista Home Premium, which has stopped creating restore points
automatically. The automatic function is enabled, and there are only two
restore points in there now, so there should be plenty of space. Used to
create one about once a day, but just stopped. Hasn't created one in two
weeks now. Anyone know why this is?

Thanx,
Chet

But have you actually checked that there IS "plenty of space"?

I can create the restore points manually, no problem, so there must be room.
It's just the automatic function that's ceased to function.

I have the same problem, I think True Image or Diskeeper are interfering
with the process.

What makes you think THAT? Just a thought: if True Image were the
problem then a whole lot of people - me for one - would be having the
same problem.

What makes me think that is that I have 3 partitions with TI and DK
installed on 2 of them and neither one of those create System Checkpoints.
The other partition has neither TI or DK installed and it does create System
Checkpoints. I have the exact same programs running in the backround on
each partition with the exception of having TI and DK on 2 out of 3
partitions.
