I replaced my hd (old one died). Initially had no problem reinstalling from
the oem cd- on Monday. On Thursday I could not boot the computer- went from
Win XP with the bar to a blank screen. Tried reinstalling from the OEM Cd no
luck. Same problem. It looked like it was looking for some drivers whatever
mode I booted in except Boot to Windows Normally returned with a scroll of
files reading like
-"multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows\system32\drivers\*.dll or
*.sys" If I boot to windows normally, I get the Win XP bar for a few seconds
and then a blank screen.
I have the XP SP2 cd and tried creating my 6 boot disks and installing but I
can't get past boot disk 2- I get ntkrnlmp.exe not found- error code 7. Tried
the F7 at the scsi raid point of the boot disk and it did nothing. That may
only be related to installing from original Win XP cd rom which I don't have.
Any ideas?

Thanks, but I tried that. I assume that as soon as the message for the scsi
/Raid comes up regarding pressing F6, I'm supposed to press F7. Nothing
seemed to happen when I did this.
