No Internet Connection Sharing on XP?

Okay, first off, thanks in advance to anybody who wants to try to help me
out. So this is the situation:
I'm trying to hook my Xbox up to Xbox Live. To do so, I am connecting my
Xbox to my PC via Ethernet Ports, since my PC is hooked up to cable internet.
The problem is that I go to Start>Control Panel>Network Connections and
right-click on Local Area Connection then click on the Advanced tab, but
there is no visible option for Internet Connection Sharing. There should be
the Firewall thing and then an option that says "Allow other network users to
connect through this computer's Internet connection," but there's not. Any
ideas?

This wouldn't happen to be a matter of the userid not enough priviliges?
But then again, you should have gotten a message telling you that due to not
enough priviliges, some of the controls (tabs) are being disabled.

Just a thought.

Look in Help and Support for "ICS" and click on the entry titled:

"Enable Internet Connection Sharing on a network connection"

Hey guys, thx for trying, but nothing so far... I'm the Administrator on my
PC, and the "Enable Internet Connection Sharing" topic just told me the same
thing all my other sources are telling me, which is to click on the checkbox
that says to allow other users to use my internet connection, but that
checkbox is nonexistent... I'm not sure what to do... Thanks for trying, but
anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

The 'Internet Connection Sharing' setting are in your internet connection
(the one you use to connect to the internet wilth) icon and not the Local
Area Connection. Make sure the Local Area Connection is enabled.
Failing that , try running the 'Set up a home or small office network'
wizard from Start>Control Panel>Network Connections and just follow the
instruction and imagine that the XBOX is a PC for the wizard.

Give us the details on your network layout. How is the PC connected to
the cable? How is the PC connected to the XBox?
