no internet access

WE just installed XP Professional and for some reason the only acct
that has internet access is the first acct logged on.

if we try to switch users or logoff then on to another acct there is no
internet access. the only way to get it back is to reboot.

We tried to repair the connection but this does nothing.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi is the only account that can access the internet the administrator
account? Guest accounts can't have internet access and limited user
accounts by default do have internet access, if not you may have to
have a look at administrative tools>local security
policy> ip security policies and see whats set there.
