No inbox file in archived files

I'm using Outlook 2007. Under the archive folders (left side) there is a
deleted items and sent items folders--but no inbox. Does this have to be set
up manually? if so, how do I do this?

No, but nothing will show in the archive unless the archive options are
correctly set, and data being archived meets the relevent modified date
criteria

The first time autoarchive runs, Outlook should create a mirror of your folder
set.
