No Icon In My Computer For Slave Drive

I just recently added a little 4Gig HD to my machine for backup
purposes. Device Manager says that the device is working properly and I see
no other conflicts therein. However, My Computer does not display an icon
for the new drive. I installed this same drive to this machine about a year
ago without a hitch.
I went to Disk Management in Administrator Tools and noticed that the
drive is there but does not display a "name". The right-click menu on the
new drive only allows Delete Partition and Help with all other selections
greyed out. Status of the drive shows Healthy(Active).
What should I do at this point to make the drive usable for file
storage?

Thank you for your time and knowledge! :-)

Thanks, R. C.!

Apparently, I've been misusing the Help_and_support group for quite some
time now. I've gone through the Disk Management help file without any luck,
however, I'll certainly look it over again on the possibility that I've
missed something.

(By the way, you might trim .help_and_support from your crosspost. That's
not for getting help, but for the people who write the help files - for
Windows and for third-party programs.)

The posters to the help_and_support forum are ordinary XP users
looking for help using XP. I've never seen anything indicating
participation by people who write help files, although I can't say
that I've been looking for that aspect. The other day, though, someone
posted that the newsgroup's purpose was to help people deal with XP's
Help and Support Centre. There were a couple of replies along the
lines of "huh?"

Now let us return to your regularly scheduled thread...

That did the trick! Thanks, Anne!

Now I have to reevaluate my desire to use GoBack on anything! LOL

Can I also add my thanks in finding this solution - I had rebuilt a machine; and could'nt understand why 2 or my hard drives were deteced in disk management, and yet not in explorer. This was a big deal for me, as they contained all my music, movies and games. A quick install of Get Back solved everything. I would'nt have thought of that one......Again; many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
