no geocities pages open in my IE6

I can't get access to any Geocities.com web pages,
including my own. Can anyone offer a way to gain access to
Geocities.com pages on my own pc?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi James,

Look for a file on your machine called HOSTS (without extension, and it
might be hidden). Open it in Notepad and delete all lines that look like

127.0.0.1 geocities.com

Save the file and reboot.

If you are using POP-Up blocker software, on your PC. You may need to add 'geocities.com' (w/o quotes), to the be allowed in the rules list, of that program.
