No display of emails in Outlook 12

Hi,

What do you mean by they are no longer displayed?
Did you check the different folders in Outlook to check if the emails were
present?
Also, try renaming the file views.dat, extend.dat and outcmd.dat
Restart the computer and check again.

Thanks,

Mittu

Disable the email scanning feature in your anti-virus software (in AVG, just certification). You'll still be protected by its other features and by Outlook's own security.

My emails nolonger display since I upgraded to MS Office 2007
Tim,
Are you getting a specific error message when you try to check your email in
Outlook 2007 beta? I was having the same problem that you were but i have
now fixed it. My error message stated: The Add-In "msncon32.dll" cannot be
loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-In
manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the
Add-In."
I googled msncon32.dll and could not find anthing for a week or so. Then, a
couple of nights ago, i found a site which let me download a new outlook
connector which works with Office 2007. (I had spoken to Microsoft tech
support and they had told me that the email problem was cause by the outlook
connector which was not compatible with Office 2007. If you are getting the
same error message i got, and if you look for a new outlook connector in
google, and install it, that might solve your problem. As i say, my Outlook
2007 beta is now working fine, and i am getting all my emails. Good luck.

Disable the certification entirely. It won't bring back the content of
messages already scanned, but it will prevent future ones from being blank.

You don't have to enable the entire AV package, just the mail scanning (or,
AVG's case, just the certification).

I can't do anything other than shut off the virus protection for incoming
email. Otherwise I get blank emails.

You're the only person using AVG who has reported this, then, but
nonetheless, if turning off mail scanning entirely works, don't lose any
sleep over it. You're still protected as long as the on-access scanner
still runs.
