Jeff

I have updated from win98 to XP pro using the upgrade
package. Now I get an error box whenever I open
programs "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a
disk into drive A:"

This is very annoying, and I don't see a knowledge base
letter about this problem.

Thanks

Try using Search to look for inactive floppy drive shortcuts.
First line *.LNK
Text a:\
(Delete unless you can think of any reason to keep them.)
