Hi all
Am unable locate my cookies folder icon.
Have tried - "mycomputer/documents & settings/username" - but said file no
longer shows up as it previously did. I might have inadvertantly deleted it.
Thanks in advance.
Winxp pro.

You need to Show Hidden File and Folders to be able to locate it under this
direotry:
C:\Documents and Settins\User\Local Settings\Temp
Note doon't forget to Hide the files and Folders after reviewing the Folder.

Or in this Directory:
C:\Windows\Temp

Hi nass,
Thanks for your response.
Have followed all your instructions, including showing of hidden folders,
but when I click "temp", nothing shows up.

Try to walk Dressed in a nice dress in the street among some Lads <hey
budy/nice dress> there are lots to tell Alia, but not relevant to this one!!

Q- Why?
A- To not be mistoken(mistaken lol) by users, and fiddle with it and delete
these Hidden files/folders.

Then your Temp file corrupted, try to locate it somewhere else then
restore/recreate it back to the default:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.

BTW you can delete/remove Temp folder by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Tabs:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.
On IE properties under General Tab click on Settings opposite the Browsing
Histroy option then you will see the disk space located to your Temp folder
and also some buttons one of them called [Move Folder..] you will have to
click on this to move the folder to another location then reboot and try to
relocate it back to the default Path:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

I don't have that problem and like my computer naked so I can fiddle
with it.
