My Pavilion came with HP Support I can use from a desktop icon. I recently
got an auto update message that loops and never ends. I had other problems
with another application, so I did a system recovery. Now, Help and Support
says my messages are not being sent because I'm not connected to the internet
and to log on to my ISP and my messages will be there. NOT. I do have an
internet connection and there are no messages at my ISP site. HELP!

This requires a program called BackWeb-137903.exe or else it may be
backWeb-7288971.exe (I have two running) to be running. In my case,
at one time I had told my firewall (Zone Alarm) not to allow this
program access to the internet and disabled the program. It is now
reenabled and the backweb program had to be given permission.
