No Color Printer

Doe's anyone know of a Printer (new) that can be used for printing low quality
black text and nothing else?

I think the cheapest inkjet is about $40 these days. It'll do black text
just fine if you really want "low quality". A Samsung 1710 laser printer is
$99 after rebate and it produces very sharp 600 dpi black text.

Any cheap inkjet printer; and you'll only need the black ink cartridge.

Also, as another poster suggested, consider low-end laser printers, which
are much faster and sharper.

They use toner, which in the long run, is generally cheaper than
inkjet.
