When i open outlook I get the error message NO CD IN DRIVE. This error
message has to be cancelled several times before Oulook can open. This was
happening with outlook 2000 so I upgraded to Outlook 2003 and the error still
remained, leaving me thinking it may be possibly a registry problem or
otherwise. Any suggestions??? Thanks....

Did you, in the past, open a PST file on a rewriteable disc or something to
that effect?

Yes, there's a possibility that that has happened in the past. is there
anyway i can stop outlook looking for this file?

In Outlook, click File>Data File Management and see if the CD drive is
mentioned there. If not, check File>Archive or
ToOols>Options>Other>AutoArchive. Also check the AutoArchive tab on each
folders' Properties pages.
