No CD icon update-No Autorun

Hi all.
It is a long time that I have a simple problem.
When I insert a new CD in my CD-Reader autorun doesn't start and the CD icon
in PC-Resources is not updated.
I have read somewhere, in a forum, that this is a know BUG of Win/XP some
news about this fix ?
Have I to re-install all ?

Yes, CD refresh is still a problematic issue within XP.

Hi Alberto,

There is a file that will reset the CD autorun defaults here:

ftp://12.107.147.141/WinXP%20Autorun%20fix/

Just copy it to your system and double-click it. Should help.
