No Camera Icon in Scanner & Camera Window

When I connect my Canon Powershot A20 to my puter the
Scanner and Camera Wizard auto starts. I can then
download my pics. The problem is that no Camera icon
appears in the Scanner and Cameras window or in "My
Computer" Scanner and Camera area. This means I cannot
access the properties of my camera. It use to work. I
have the correct driver software and have reinstalled
several times. I have also tried the bigblackglasses fix,
but no joy. Can anybody help me.

Bigblackglass fix is not for this. It is to repair the Autoplay window for
camera (also called the camera wizard). Your camera wizard is working
properly.

Instead of looking for your camera under Scanner and Camera, look under
Devices with Removable storage after you open My Computer.
Your camera should be listed there under your CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives. I
don't think you have a problem, you are just not looking at the right place.
