no cache lookup folder..?

A client of ours is currently running Win2000 with Active
directory but has no cached lookup folder - any ideas how
to resolve this issue as client is desperate.

Do you mean the cached lookups folder in DNS? Go to the view settings and
enable advanced view, the folder will then be visible.
