No Blank Document

I had a problem (don't know what I did) and WOrd shut down. Now everytime I
open it I get the last doc I was working on when it closed. Even if I click
on New and wnat a blank page this last document comes up. I have to
hightlite and delete everytime before I start something new.
Any ideas on how to change the setting?
