no audio

Hi

I have saved some clips for editing in DVI format but when i play them back
there is no audio. Is this normal, i have checked all the obvious
(speakers, volume levels etc)

No, it's not normal. Can you see the wave patterns on the audio track of the
timeline of the project?

Have you by any chance selected the audio track and selected the Mute
option )

or,

Have you installed some other program just prior to this problem appearing
which has an Audio component?
