no audio

can't figure out why i'm not getting audio. not sure which settings to use
for my analog video camera. i have an HP m7350n computer and all i want to
do is view my tapes on my computer screen so i can decide which clips i want
to record to dvd (i will use my Pinnacle studio moviebox for this). i have
composite plug ins in the front of my computer which is convenient for
attaching my video camera, but something is blocking my audio

That HP MCE pc has what it terms as an Intel Hi-Def sound chip rather
than a soundcard? So.............
