No audio on web pages

I am not able to get any audio on web pages. All normal computer sounds are
functioning. For instance, ww.motortrend.com immediately runs a video clip
with audio, but I'm not getting the audio. The "Play sounds in webpages"
box is checked under Internet Properties/Advanced settings. I know this must
be a simple problem, but it's driving me goofy. Please help!

It is likely a Flash Player and you need to download Flash player from
Micromedia.com.
http://www.adobe.com look for Flash layer 9 I think and download it
then reboot and see if that will help.
If not try to send to the IE? newsgroup relevant to your IE version, is it
IE7 or IE6?.

Thanks for the info, but it didn't help. I have IE6. Any other suggestions?
