No Audio hear when using Microsoft Windows Media Player

I am unable to hear any sound when I play ANYTHING from Windows Media Player.
The graphic for the audio shows movement. I can hear from anything else on
the computer.
 
No it is not muted. I have audio from every other application on the PC at
the same time that I have no audio from the WMP.
 
Did you get an answer to your question? I have the same problem & would like
to know how to solve it.
