Using movie maker, i capture video but no audio.
I have used it before i installed ie7 with no problems.
Could ie7 be causing this?

I am using usb. That is what I used before and what my camera supports.
I can play films I uploaded before in Musicmaster and they have good sound.
I have tried three times to upload ny film after rebooting and trying
everything I could think of.
The audio clips show in the timeline, but don't play.

I don't have firewire on my computer.
USB worked before. Why not now?
Is this a problem because I installed IE7?

Quite likely it could be a problem with IE7, it still has many bugs and they are showing up with computers with varying settings.
Have you tried Nero Showtime or WinDVD? both very reliable, also check the
settings in your sounds and audio devices properties, one thing I have seen
is that certain setups tend to change the sound and audio settings without
you being aware of it until something untoward happens.

Where can I get those programs?
Can I uninstall IE7 then reinstall it later? Will uninstalling cause any
problems?

I have uninstalled IE7, but it didn't help.
I have no other problems with sound onn my computer.
Any other ideas?

Al,
I am having the very same problem with movie maker. I am conected by usb
and also video and autio cables. I did have sound at one time but when I
played what I had captured the sound was slower than the video.
