When I go to control panel | sounds and audio devices | volume tab
everything is grayed out except the words "no audio device". When I
click on any of the program events under the sound tab I get the error
message: "Windows cannot play the sound %SystemRoot%\media\Windows XP
....wav. Your sound card may be in use". I can get sound from Windows
Media player and most programs. I get no sound in Quicken. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
sound card and have also taken the card out and reseated it. What else
can I try to fix this problem? Thanks.

You have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but did you try with the
latest driver? If not, then visit the manufacturer's website to download
and install the latest driver.

Yes I have also downloaded and installed the latest driver but that
didn't seem to help. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Thanks for your help. I am running Quicken 2006 Premier. I will check
with Quicken support.
