In Control panel > Sounds ... it says No Audio Device, but Device Manager >
Sound ... controllers show that my audio controller is working properly.

Any ideas how to rectify the problem?

Hi Bostjan Glazar,

We need some more info is that your onborad sound device driver you have or you have additional sound card.

1. If its on board sound card enter BIOS by tapping 'DEL' key on starting PC and then in integrated peripherals disable sound card and then reboot and check in device manager still shows the device. if so please uninstall sound card driver and then reboot and go to BIOS and re enable sound card and reinstall drivers from manufactures website (Recommended).

2. If it's additional sound card shut down PC remove plug from wall socket and then remove sound card slot and then restart and enter BIOS and check in integrated peripherals if on board sound card is disabled. if not disable and then restart PC then uninstall drivers for you sound card and shut down PC remove plug from wall socket and then connect sound card to the slot and then restart. and then reinstall drivers . .

Hope this helps.

Regards,
chris
