no audio device present

For some mystery reason, I now have no audio device present. No cd's and no
internet sound. What can I do?
 
check if you don't have the mute set and volume up....control panel - sounds
and speach...- sounds and audio devices, a window "Sounds and audio device
properties" is going to open..if everything is ok go to hardware tab and hit
troubleshoot...here do the instructions

Reinstall your Audio Driver. It should be on the Software CD that came
with the computer.
