No audio device after XP upgrade

No audio device detected after windows XP upgrade.
Windows 98 'Ess AudioDrive Playback (220) missing. What
should I do.

David, you still have the Win98 audio driver. You need to update it with
a WinXP driver. So whether a Sound Card or
integrated audio you still need a WinXP driver.
