No audio between Windows 98 and XP.

We have both MSN 6.1
She windows 98 and I have XP.
We can chat, we can see each other by webcam, but when we
try audio there is a message that indicates that a
connection can not be fixed.
What can we do to fixe this problem.

seems to be so many porblems with audio. It is peer to
peer as Jonathan explained but I hope we all can get it
straightened out.

Is it a USB connected camera with inbuilt sound? I have seen situations
where W98 does
not like USB connected sound.

W98 is it 1st Edition or 2nd?
