No audio after adding video clip to time line

Using WMM2 and a JVC DV camera. Captured the file to my hard drive.
Using WMM I imported this file and WMM created segments. When I click
and preview any segment, I can see and hear synchro audio that was
recorded during the filming. However once I pull the segment onto the
timeline and attempt to playback, I get no audio. Can anyone tell me
what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
Chris

I also notice that if I try to capture within WMM and not the software
that came with my camera, that while camera is option for video, only
microphone is option for audio. I am using the camera to USB connection
per the book and it speaks of no other connection needed. Am I missing
something? (again, when I click on the segment outside the timeline, I
can hear the original audio track, so it would seem this is not the
issue.)

I also get "an interface has too many methods to fire events from" when
I try to capture using WMM.

Thanks
Chris

If anyone has any suggestions for this problem I would greatly appreciate it.
I have the same camera and the exact same problems.
Thanks!

The first suggestion would be to get a firewire cable and, if needed, card
for your computer. Then capture via firewire instead of USB. Firewire is a
faster and more reliable connection so you will get much better results.
