no animation movement

Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden anything animated and animated gif's
no longer move. I re-installed ms java and sun java, still no movement.
How do I fix?

Check your Internet Options settings... On the Advanced tab there is a
setting to 'Play animations in web pages' under the Multimedia heading.

The tab is checked. I downloaded Microsoft VM, Java VM, still no animations.

Hmmm. I'm stumped. Does this happen on all sites? Have you re-booted since
re-installing the java libraries?
Have you tried the Internet Explorer Repair option (Control Panel\Add/Remove
Programs\Internet Explorer\Repair ?
