No administrator

Press F8 before Windows boots and select the default admin
acct.


|I am running Windows XP with SP2 installed and I cannot
find my account with
| administrator rights. I have 4 accounts I can select from
the welcome
| screen and none have access to IE internet options. It
says I have to be the
| administrator. I have 1 user that I have a password when I
log on and I am
| fairly confident that this is the account with
administrator rights.

Hi,

To access the default administrator account:

In WinXP Pro, hit ctrl+alt+delete twice at the logon screen and type it in.

In WinXP Home, you must restart and enter Safe mode by hitting F8 at
startup. The administrator logon will be one of the options.

start/run: type: control userpasswords2. That will give u a good overview
over all accounts
