Administrator - Safe Mode Logon

When restarted in safe mode, windows MCE adds an actual "Administrator"
account that requires a password. How do I determine what the password is?
I've tried leaving it blank as well as using "Admin", "admin",
"Administrator", and "administrator", but none of them work.

Since XP MCE is a superset of XP Pro, you don't need to go into Safe
Mode to see the built-in Administrator account (although it is hidden
from the Welcome Screen when a second user account with administrative
privileges is created). This password is created during initial
installation of the operating system. With OEM machines from large
companies such as Dell, HP, etc. the password is blank. The password
could be different if 1) you installed the operating system yourself and
chose a different password; 2) you bought the computer second-hand; 3)
you changed the built-in Administrator account's password at some time.

You can reset the built-in Administrator's password from Regular Mode by
doing:

Run>control userpasswords2 [enter]

Click the Reset Password button to change the Administrator's password.

Done, great!
