No Admin Access

Hi All,

I have some problems with one machine (Windows XP Service pack 2).
It is a workstation connected to our domain server.

Even if I login as local admin or domain admin I not able to get admin
rights in that machine. I can't even change date. All users are getting
limited access in that particular machine.

Please help me on this.

Has anyone been playing with group policy stuff? Run rsop.msc and check for
errors.
Any event log errors?
What's ther result of trying safe mode & a local admin login?

.....users *should* have limited access, but of course, admins should not.

Hi Lanwench,

Thank you for your reply.
I tried the RSOP and compared with an another machine that is working fine,
but I really cant notice any difference. Here also I am not able to change
any policy(with Local admin login). We have limited policies here.

regards

No errors?
Try gpupdate /force (in a command prompt) and then gpresult
(or gpresult >c:\filename.txt)

Check for event log errors

Here also I am not
