Next step from Publisher??

Hi,

I've created websites in Publisher & would now like to advance a bit, though
am not yet able to use code very well. I'm wondering whether Frontpage or
Expression would be good for me next. Can anyone tell me whether either of
these uses similar functions as Publisher & the other MS packages.
Many thanks,

Publisher is in a world of it's own. Since Publisher is primarily a dtp
product (desktop publishing) it tries to use that paradigm for web design
(which in many peoples opinions does not work well). Nothing you designed in
Publisher for the web will be convertible to normal html by any editor, you
will have to begin again.

FrontPage is discontinued, but it may still be available and may be a good
choice for you...or you can try Expression Web, FP's replacement. There is a
free trial on MS website. There WILL be a considerable learning curve coming
from Pub.

Serif has WebPlus which is pretty good and somewhat like Publisher only it
does produce pretty good code...you may want to look into that as well.
