Hi Alain,
That was, again..., a long time ago

"Sauvegarde" was probably not translated and it meant "save" or
"saving"
It doesn't seem to be there any more but other annoying words are.
What, for example, is ..
Display Option - View messages - Police fixe ?
or Police Proportionnelle ?
Also, Settings - Formulations ? If that means "Filters" then why not
say so ?
Also, why would I want to use terms such as "Nom" for the name of the
sender ? What's wrong with "Name" ? I certainly don't want to use
terms such as "Jour" either.
Also, "Load the conversation" etc. If that means "Load thread" then it
is probably a good way to put things. However, does any other
newsreader use those words ? If not then using the terminology
"thread" may make it easier for people coming from other
newsreaders.
If you have critics, I mean constructive ones, please tell us and we
will try to correct or implement what you ask.
IMO any criticism of just about any program can be taken as
constructive criticism, or the opposite. Depending on who is reading
the criticism.
The point of my being critical of MesNews however is so that it will
possibly become better.
Lastly, if one subscribes to one newsgroup from two servers does one
end up with the same newsgroup twice ? It appears that way. Is there a
way to have "virtual" newsgroups in MesNews ? So that one newsgroup
is listed but multiple news servers feed it.
Regards, John.
