I have set up a mail rule for my news accounts. It is supposed to delete
messages that were sent more than 2 days ago. I have still got mail in there
from 9 days ago. I downloaded them 9 days ago too. Can anyone please help?

You're supposed to set up a "news" rule for a news account, not a mail rule.
