I recently deleted the "News" button from my toolbar and
now when I try to add it again I can't find it under
the "go" and "command" list under the customize your
toolbar section. Any help to retrieve the News button
would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the innumerable recent posts, like the one made just 30 minutes ago.
