newsgroups

Hello

I can't find a newsgroup room so I hope I can get an answer here in this
room.

All my newsgroups folders in the left column are listed in bold black.
Before only the ones I had a newsthread or my reply in it would be bold
text. So it were easy to locate the group.

But now everything is bold black even the ones I do not use or read. How
can I change it the way it was ? Also when I close the newsgroup it always
updates with new messages not only for the group I close but entire
newsgroups in the left column. Any fixes. Thank you.

NG's will be bold if there are unread messages in it.
Click on an NG, click Edit on the Menu bar and click Mark All Read.
The NG should no longer be Bold until you download more unread messages.
You can set colors for your post by setting a rule.
Tools > Message Rules > News.

You're using Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2670

Bold means that there are message headers and/or message bodies.

Delete every message header and message body and do not click on them again
while online.

OE | File | Work Offline | Right click each one | Properties | Local File
tab | Delete button
