Please forgive the vagueness of my query above and allow me to elaborate.
The mail functions of Outlook work adequately on my computer. Also, using
Outlook to access the various newsgroups also worked normally.
Then several months ago, I noticed that:
-- I wasn't able to access the newsgroups that I had chosen, despite seeing
them in a list.
-- Whenever I would click on the name of a group, my computer did nothing.
-- When I tried deleting the groups in order to start over -- nothing.
It's as if I could see, but I'm not able to do anything. I'd thought that
maybe I could remove Outlook from my computer, and re-insall it from a disk,
but I would want to know if it can be done, before I go messing with the hard
drive.
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
