newsgroup - can't reply to sender

Hi all

I recently tried out Mozilla - didn't like some of its fetures so returned
to OE 6. Now I cannot make OE my default newsprogram. How do I do that? I've
gone through every menu possible, though the control center and all the help
docs and knowledge bases I can find with no luck.

There is also a second problem. When I want to reply privately to someone in
a newsgroup and click on reply to sender a message box appears - the
microsoft exchange wizard which asks me to give the path to the postoffice -
where the h*** is that?

Any help would be gratefully received

Please see reply to amy about 15 mins ago........

Tools/Internet Options/Programs.... set browser to
whichever one you want to use and check the default check
box down the bottom!!!

Outlook express does not appear in the drop down list!

Mick,
To re-register OE...
Go to Start> Run and enter the following (with the quotation marks):

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

assuming that is the path to msimn.exe on your PC. I think this will fix
both problems.
