I tried to add the NEWS tab under the GO and it worked. I noticed my 2 other
attempts were there as well so I removed 2 "NEWS" and kept 1. When i came
back to outlook NEWS was removed from my GO menu. It's no longer under the
customized section either. I can't find it anywhere and resetting all
original settings didn't fix this problem.

How can i get NEWS back ???

I don't use OE.. just MS Outlook 2003. The directions to get NEWS is as
follows:
(And I did as you said, but it didn't help any. The News did exist at one
point under the GO command, but it's now gone).
here are Outlook's directions (they used to work until NEWS disappeared)

Start the newsgroup reader

The first time you use the newsreader, you must add the News command to the
Go menu.

Add the News command to the Go menu.
How?

On the Standard toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you
use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then
SHIFT+F10.), click the Toolbar Options arrow .
Point to Add or Remove Buttons, and then click Customize.
Click the Commands tab.
In the Categories list, click Go.
In the Commands list, click News, and drag it, without releasing the mouse,
until it rests over the Go menu. When the menu displays a list of commands,
point to where you want the command to appear, and then release the mouse.
Click the Go menu, and then click News.

You actually do use OE, since OL does not have an ng reader adding News to
Go is really just a shortcut to open OE.
