News Reader disappeared and was replaced by folder!!!

Hi

can anyone help me with this problem:

I installed News Reader yesterday by following the instructions found in
HELP Menu (dragging the NEWS button from the "Customize Toolbars" window to
the GO menu). I then used News Reader extensively yesterday and sent a few
posts, but when I turned off my computer and turned it on today I was
surprised to see that the NEWS button in the GO menu of OUTLOOK disappeared.
It sometimes appears (directly after I click Contacts, Maibox or Calendar
shortcuts) but if I click on NEWS, a new window opens and shows the content
of the following folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
!!!!!

NB: I am using Outlook Express for the news server meanwhile ;-)

Well documented by thousands of posts in this group.
To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.
