Always used Mail (which no loger exists) for my news groups.

Are the Discussion Groups and Windows 7 Forum, the only way to get news now?

or

Can I duplicate "Mail" capabilities?

thx

Get Mozilla Thunderbird and stay in these groups. The forum interface
stinks. Only MS frowns on newsgroups, it seems.

Thunderbird is not that bad, but IMO still not the best way to read
newsgroups. I prefer Xana

It is fast and flexible and very convenient. It takes a few days of
getting used to, but after that, you don't want to switch anymore, IME.
It is actively being developed.

Windows Mail is now Live Mail. You can download it from download.live.com.
