Guys,
I am often chastised for top posting in newsgroups. However, this is the
Outlook Newsreader's default behaviour. IS there any option to change it so
that my replies are appended to the bottom? I can find no such option after
searching....

Try a program called OE QuoteFix. I use it to customize my replies AND
top-post. I generally skip posts that use bottom posting - I don't need to
see what I have already seen twice - waste of time.

If you hold down the Ctrl key and hit the End key, your cursor will move to
the bottom of the reply. The reason that the cursor starts at the top of a
reply is so that you can prune out unnecessary text from what you're
replying to.
