Newbire Question: How to Transfer Outlook Address Book To Another PC?

Hello,

I'm a newbie to Outlook as I've never used it before. I'm setting up a
laptop for a friend and he wants his outlook address book transferred
onto his laptop from his old PC.

I have no idea how to do this, so if someone could help me or maybe
there is a link that has the information, it would be appreciated.

It's probably in the programs help file, and if you look on the menu there
is a file, import and export option.

I'm familiar with all of MS products except Outlook........you saved
me some time and I really appreciate it!

I don't have either PC in front of me or I probably would have figured
that one out myself.

Not so fast. Alan posted incorrect information. You should never use import
or export for this. Follow the link Brian posted for the correct
information. Be aware that Outlook has no address book. Your Contact data is
in the Outlook Data File (PST file).
