I am trying to set up remote access vpn to allow mobile users to use my
company network.
My setup includes: RRAS on Windows 2000 server SP3 in an NT4 domain. The
server has 2 NIC's and I am using cable ISP and a DI-704 router. I want to
use PPTP only server.
When XP client tries to connect I get error 721. When I check event log on
server it says "user connected to port vpnxxx has been disconnected because
the authentication process did not complete within the required amount of
time." I'm pretty sure authentication and encryption configured correctly.
I have read and tried EVERYTHING i can find on microsoft site and google
hasn't turned anything up. Please help! Thanks in advance!
