newbie question regarding shared borders

Hi
When I first set up my web page, the index page was set up to be something like a front door, i.e. welcome, click here to enter type thing. You are then taken to the "real" homepage. Using a tutorial I downloaded from MS, I set up the shared borders. It set up the shared borders on the index page instead of the homepage. Not knowing any better, I deleted the shared borders off the index page and tried to set up the shared borders on the homepage. Now I can't seem to get the shared borders to show up on the "normal" or "preview" pages in Frontpage. They might be in the "html" section, but I am clueless about how to read it. Any help on getting the shared borders on my homepage would be appreciated.

Thanks!

To add or remove shared borders to any or all pages use Format Shared Borders and select the option for all pages or this page only
- if you physically deleted the content of the shared borders you had you will have to redo them
- to see the shared borders pages (in the _borders folder) use Tools Web Settings Advanced - show Hidden Folders

Thanks, I was able to figure that out finally :) Now my problem is with Themes...I apply a theme, and it won't apply the buttons to the hyperlinks.....

The buttons come from creating a Navigation View and applying a navigation bar
