newbie question: got a 4-port usb pci card with one internal usb port

I have connected the printer and webcam to the external ports, but I
am not sure what I can use the internal port for.

What does one do with an internal port? What devices can I use to
connect to it?

Any help or advice will be appreciated.

An internal port or is it a mounting block with pinouts for an USB
connector that, for instance, can be used by a front panel connector
or hub? Be more specific. What make/model of card? What's writtin in
the instructions?

Not much use unless you have a need for a USB dongle of some type.
For instance a bluetooth dongle could be attached. Or a USB drive for use
with Vista ReadyBoost.

It is a port facing inside, so when I install the card, 4 USB ports
face the rear, one is facing the "inside" so to speak. The brand name
is Koutech. There is nothing in the instructions to tell me what the
internal port is useful for.

Koutech makes a number of different Firewire/USB peripheral cards. Visit
http://www.koutech.com/. Identify the card and someone should be able to
answer the question better. OTOH,one can guess that since Koutech also
makes front panel Firewire/USB readers, it would also design its cards to
mount these as well.
