i suggest you google around for reviews and user comments on the 6800LE. the 9800pro tends too be better then the LE of the 6800's. considering what is watered down on the 6800LE you are better off getting a vanilla 6800. i know its more pricey but otherwise i would recommend the 9800pro over the 6800LE!

otherwise, a good'lookin PC :D

My first thought was what make is the motherboard, RAM & Hard Drive? It makes a difference.

And if possible, go for at least an FX6800 standard, not the LE version, or, as Me_2001 said, you'd probably be better off with an ATI 9800 Pro card rather than the FX6800SE.

Cheers everyone.

Decided to go for it. Will let u know how I get on. Supplier is mesh computers - see http://www.pcpro.co.uk/buyer/reviews/64657/mesh-matrix64-3200-csx.html (added a DVD drive and upgraded the video card)

I cant be bothered building one myself, did it a couple of years ago and had a 'mare with components not working properly together.

The grafix card upgrade is £100+ for the next one up so am going with this one then will upgrade it in a few months when the budget allows.
Now what about force feedback joysticks - anyone know the best one ?

Try Charisma Computers. They would built that PC for a lot less than that! Type in Charisma Computers in google and have a look at their site. Well worth a look.

No, they're not are they, lol - oops  My mistake, I musta been tired at the time or something :D

Bennett101: I had a look at the Charisma site, not bad but they a little vague with their specs on configured systems.

For instance: 'ATI Graphics with 128Mb onboard memory' What's that then? And I also wonder which TFT Monitor they're supplying. DVI input? Probably not.

Worth looking at if you could get more details but I do suspect el cheapo components being offered there.

For the unwary and uninitiated to be careful when shopping from them.
