New Works Template appears each time I start Word 2002

I recently had to reinstall Word 2002 and Works 7 as my hard drive failed.
Now each time I start Word and go to the "File" dropdown the words "New Works
Template" appear in the file list and they stay. I currently have a list of
15 lines saying "New Works Template". Does anyone know how to a) get rid of
the list and b) how to stop them appearing.
