Just installed Office 2003. All appears to be in order with the exception of
a couple of anomalies with Word... Word docs were showing up with the
WordPad icon... np, fixed that. But when I right click in an Explorer window
to create a new file, Word docs are not an option... other Office apps are
there. Anyway, does anyone know the registry setting to enable Word docs in
the Explorer right click New menu?

TIA,

Lang

Microsoft TweakUI specifically for Windows XP
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

After installing TweakUI, Run it, click "Templates", check the box for "Microsift Word
Document", and click Apply, OK

Thanks for the tip... installed TweakUI but when I go to templates section,
Word is not listed...

Click the "Create" button and select an existing Word.doc file...
